As the Office Manager for Andersonville Psychology, and our partner practice, Chicago Mindful Psychotherapy — I oversee our billing and insurance procedures, and the administrative and logistical demands pertaining to our business operations. I also manage and implement the marketing needs for both practices, while providing direct support to our clinical teams, and Executive Director.
This multifaceted role provides me with the opportunity to strengthen organizational and operations management strategies, while sharing my creative talents as a graphic designer, writer, and social media content creator.
One of my personal goals working for our practices is to foster and maintain a safe space for our team, and for all of the individuals and families that we serve. I strive to ensure that all folx feel welcomed into our offices — whether that be at their individual appointments, testing technician appointments, group therapy meetings, and at our public-facing events such as art openings and networking events that are held at our partner practice, Chicago Mindful Psychotherapy.
I am passionate about helping to break the stigma around mental illness, and advocate that access to mental healthcare should be a human right.
In my personal time you’ll find me watching 90’s reruns on Hulu, tinkering with creative writing, volunteering to help end food insecurity, and walking along the shores of Lake Michigan – in all seasons. I love traveling, and hope to someday publish a memoir on my own experiences with death, grief, and forgiveness.
